Four years ago, we opened Phase 1 of the Community Commons, a seven-days-a-week outreach center designed to be a welcoming space where people of all backgrounds can connect, play, and grow.
Today, the Commons is home to an indoor playground, Lionheart Children’s Academy, a café, and sports fields—all available for community use.
As Lionheart serves a growing community and more people gather at Community Commons, the need to complete the next phase is increasing. The master plan for Phase 2 includes:
In addition to Phase 2 of the Commons, God gave us a vision for the Community Commons to include a comprehensive, multi-purpose recreation facility so that we, the church, could serve and impact the community like Jesus did with the crowds of his day. In faith, we believe this will become a reality in His perfect timing.
Our vision is to reach our growing community, but first, we must reduce our debt. By freeing up resources now, we can expand our facility, serve our city more effectively, and mobilize more disciple-makers for the future.
To make this vision a reality, we are pursuing a Dream Goal of $1.25M.
70% of these funds ($875,000) will reduce our current $2.75 million debt by 32%, saving nearly $900,000 in interest costs and positioning us for future expansion.
Additionally, we have $400,000+ already set aside for future construction, which could be allocated toward debt reduction—accelerating the timeline for our next phase.
Dream Goal: $1.25M
